Introducing Crystal Lee, L.A.’s New City Engineer

Appointed City Engineer in June 2026, Crystal Lee is responsible for leading over 800 engineers, architects, technical and administrative staff in the planning, design, and construction of the City’s public infrastructure. Lee brings over 20 years of engineering, project delivery, and management experience from various roles throughout the City – most recently serving as LAWA’s Deputy Executive Director for the Airport Development Group: Sustainability, Energy, Environmental and Development Services.

Charter Amendment PRK

Set for the November 2026 ballot, Charter Amendment PRK would double the minimum funding commitment to the Department of Recreation and Parks (RAP). Hear directly from the campaign team about the case for PRK, what the measure would fund, and what it could mean for parks and recreation across Los Angeles. Members will have the opportunity to vote on CCA’s position on PRK.
