LOS ANGELES, CA (November 8, 2023) – CCA President & CEO Nella McOsker issued the following statement following Mayor Bass’s signing of Executive Directive 7.
“CCA applauds Mayor Bass on Executive Directive 7 (ED 7) to help streamline housing production for all income levels in Los Angeles. Mayor Bass’s ED 7 strongly aligns with CCA’s priorities to cut down discretionary processes and reduce permitting wait times to alleviate our housing crisis. This is precisely the kind of public private collaboration that shows the City's commitment to keeping investment and development here in LA.”
As CCA continues to lead on the next iteration of adaptive reuse, ED 7 will help amplify the positive collaborations CCA has with key departments on this issue. To date, CCA has met with the following government partners on adaptive reuse:
