She also has ultimate responsibility for all legal aspects of Playa Vista's transactional matters and ongoing operations, project litigation, and human resources.
Major initiatives in which Patti has played a key role include the 2010 entitlement of The Village at Playa Vista; the sale of land for approximately 3 million square feet of commercial development in the Campus at Playa Vista; the sale and donation of over 500 acres to the State of California for permanent open space; the issuance of $135 million in Mello-Roos financing for Phase I of the Playa Vista project; the development of an LAUSD elementary school at Playa Vista; and Native American and Coastal Commission issues.
Prior to joining Playa Vista in October 2000, Patti was an equity partner at Latham & Watkins. At Latham, she specialized in public/private partnerships, economic initiative programs and tax-exempt financings.
